Omair Khan is a Partner at ARTIS, where he focuses on early-stage investments in frontier technologies that advance the human condition. He serves on multiple boards across the firm’s portfolio and closely partners with founders throughout the life cycle of their companies. Drawing on physician-scientist training and a multidisciplinary background spanning clinical medicine, biomedical research, global health, and government policy, Omair brings a distinctive perspective on where the most consequential challenges in healthcare lie and how emerging technologies can address them. His ongoing research interests include immunology, oncology, endometriosis, and fertility.
Omair completed his BS in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Global Health Studies at Yale University, where he was awarded the Edgar J. Poell Prize for most outstanding thesis. He is a recipient of the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans, awarded to the most outstanding immigrants and children of immigrants in the United States.
