Please join us in welcoming Vasudev (Vas) Bailey, PhD, to the ARTIS family. Over the past several years, Vas has operated closely with our team as one of our key trusted Advisors within the area of life sciences and healthcare. Today Vas officially joins as our newest Partner where he will continue to work on investments in disruptive technology at the convergence of biology (TechBio applications like therapeutic, diagnostic, device, digital) opportunities.

Prior to ARTIS, Vas helped found enterprise sales and the healthcare business for Quid, an ARTIS portfolio company. He also previously co-founded and served as the General Manager of the GLG Institute. In this role, he built a forum to connect retired C-suite executives, from companies such as Pfizer, AZ, Teva, and McDonald’s, with exceptional aspiring leaders. Vas continues to draw on his strategy consulting background at McKinsey & Company. Vas received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where he was recognized as both a Siebel and a Medtronic Scholar. He graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from UC Irvine where he was also recognized as both a Regents and a Henry Samueli Scholar.
